SUSHI TIME!!!

On monday we went to the kitchen to make some sushi. The ingredients we used were: seaweed , rice, cream cheese, ham, tuna, green olives and crab sticks. First, we mixed in the rice and the cream cheese to make it sticky. Then, we put it all down on the Nori seaweed and spread it all. Later, we added the ingredients on the rice. Finally, we rolled it up and sliced into pieces. Yummy!!!

On this unit we have learnt about the weather. After learning the vocabulary about the topic, we went to the computers room and there we looked for information about the weather in different places. After writing down the forecast, we did a casting to choose the best weather presenters. You  will see the results after Easter Holiday!

Ingeleseko antzerkia ikusi genuen. Ipuin bat kontatu ziguten. Ipuina oso dibertigarria izan zen. Ander atera zen dantza egitera eta oso ondo pasatu genuen.

Batzuetan klasean erlajazioak egiten ditugu. Hori egin eta gero oso lasai geratzen zara. Bitartean isiltasun haundia dago. Hemen ikusten da.

Some weeks ago we saw a theatre play in the school hall. It was called Sidneyrella and it tells the story of Sidney, a boy who lives with his horrible stepmother and stepbrother. One day, the fairygodfather appears and makes Sidney´s life better. We sang, we danced, we laughed and enjoyed it a lot!

We are learning about food on this unit; how to name different things and also the foods that are good (healthy) for us and the ones that are not. In the video we are playing a game in which Aiala says names of foods and if they are good we raise our arms and say Hurrey! and if they are not good we fold our arms.

Wild animals

Before Christmas we learnt about wild animals. Wild animals are those ones that can´t live at home.

First we saw vocabulary about its names and parts of their bodies and in the end we made a group 

project about a wild animal we chose in common. We found information about their habitat, their 

physical characteristics, diet and finally we drew a picture. We learnt a lot working in groups, we 

listened to others´opinions and we respected the decisions we made.

Mikel (2A) made a great job at home making a Power Point about the topic.
